I love what I do, and I’ve spent years honing my craft, so, naturally, I love sharing my knowledge and expertise with fellow and aspiring creatives. My classes often take me on the road to present at different universities and ASID chapters throughout the United States, but I also host classes in my Northern California studio. No matter the location or size of the class, though, my goal is always to help those looking to increase their skill level, confidence, and mastery of interior design and spatial planning. I hope to see you in my next class.

INTERIOR ARCHITECTURAL space planning
Developing space planning skills is imperative to the design process, which is why this is by far the most important class offered. In this class you will learn practical approaches to architectural space planning for both new construction and remodels. More specifically, we will review construction and space planning basics, methods and processes of space planning, approaches to practical space planning and problem solving, how to shape quality space and furniture space planning basics.
VISUAL COMMUNICATIONS elevations
One of the most important lessons a designer needs to learn is to leave nothing to chance. To do that requires well-prepared drawings with details and specifics that effectively communicate designs to clients and contractors. In this class, you will learn to illustrate and document your design ideas with accurately prepared elevations. It will provide you with the necessary tools to make informed design decisions, improve visualization during the design process and effectively manage projects.
The ultimate guide to producing professional-quality hand renderings, this book uses an assortment of illustrations to teach the best techniques for manual CAD drawings and 3-D modeling. Brief notes accompany the illustrations to describe the techniques used and any other pertinent information. A picture, as they say, really is worth a thousand words, so enjoy this whole book of them.
