MASTER BATHROOM REVEAL - BREAK ARCH PROJECT
Stylized photoshoot days are exciting...and I'll be honest they're a little stressful too. There's a lot of behind the scenes that has to happen in preparation for the day..and since I'm new at the whole stylized photoshoot thing, I feel like I'm in the throws of a huge learning curve too. What looks good in real life doesn't always translate well on film, so during the shoot there's a lot of moving and arranging going in hopes of capturing the perfect shots.
CREATING A LOOK
The preparation starts with developing a look, or a feel that will enhances the finish materials and design of the space. With the Break Arch Project, I could have gone a lot of different directions given the neutral finish materials, the transitional plumbing and lighting fixtures, and the architectural detail. I wanted the space to feel spa-like, while accenting all the white materials with saturated colors. This is what I came up with.
MASTER BATHROOM FLOOR PLAN
Another challenging thing with stylized shoots, especially for bathrooms (since they're generally more confined spaces) is the ability to capture photos that define the floor plan...especially for someone who is unfamiliar with the space.
The mirrors and glass also create a tricky situation for the photographers to capture images without reflecting themselves, or their equipment. To counteract the space challenges with the photography here's the floor plan for reference.
MASTER BATHROOM TOUR
Now, without any further adieu, here's the final photos of the Break Arch Master Bathroom Project. Enjoy!
